About

Raimore Construction is a heavy civil contractor headquartered in Portland, Oregon, delivering roads, bridges, utilities and earthwork across the Pacific Northwest since 2000. Their work is mostly for public owners, so the website has two jobs: show agencies and prime contractors what the company has delivered, and show people in the community how to build a career there.

The challenge

What needed solving

The old site did not explain the work. Project information was thin, the careers path into the trades was hard to find, and nothing showed the company’s commitments to local hiring and the neighborhoods it builds in.

What we did
  1. Built a project template that states the owner, location, type of work and status before the story, so an agency reviewer can scan it in seconds.
  2. Turned careers into clear pathways: apprentice, journey and foreman levels for laborers, cement masons and operators, with a downloadable guide.
  3. Wrote a community page around four plain commitments: hire locally, build careers, invest in neighborhoods, build trust.
  4. Added an online employment application and a holding page so the launch can follow the client’s review.
